Recording Studios

Musicland Studios
Munich, Germany

Musicland Studios was founded in the late 1960s by Italian producer and songwriter Giorgio Moroder. Moroder is known best by Queen fans for co-writing Love Kills. The studio was located in the basement of the Arabella High-Rise Building. Musicland became popular among top acts, most of which worked with producer Reinhold Mack. Parts of Queen albums The Game, Hot Space, The Works, A Kind Of Magic, and Made In Heaven were recorded at Musicland. Solo albums Strange Frontier and Mr. Bad Guy were also recorded at Musicland. The studio was closed in the early 1990s.
