Album Info
Queen's legendary 1975 Christmas Eve concert was broadcast
live on the BBC2 television program The Old Grey Whistle Test. The band
were in top form that night, delivering an incredible performance and capitalizing
on their first UK #1 single, Bohemian Rhapsody.. The concert would be broadcast
multiple times throughout the years on both television and radio, making
it perhaps the most bootlegged Queen show.
The once throught lost Multi-track tapes were recovered in 2009, making
it possible for a proper release. The BBC film crew packed up their equipment
before the second encore; as a result, Seven Seas Of Rhye, See What A Fool
I've Been, and God Save The Queen were not captured on video, Thankfully
audio tape machines were still rolling. A Night At The Odeon was released
on November 20, 2015 around the world in multiple formats including vinyl
LP, CD, Blu-ray, DVD, and combinations of CD and DVD/Blu-ray. A Super Deluxe
Edition collected CD, Blu-ray, DVD, and a special Bohemian Rhapsody 12"
with a soundcheck recording of Now I'm Here from this night.
A Night At The Odeon charted at #40 in the UK, possibly overshadowed by
the Live At The Rainbow '74 release that came out a year earlier.

2011 Sheer Heart Attack Deluxe CD
Recorded live at Hammersmith Odeon on Christmas Eve, 1975. This is a great
live version of Now I'm Here, benefiting greatly from the 2011 remastering.
This appeared on the Deluxe Edition of Sheer Heart Attack, predating the
A Night At The Odeon release by 4 years. Unlike the album, this version
does not feature the Bob Harris introduction.
Now I'm Here (Live at the Hammersmith Odeon, December
1975 - Soundtrack Version) 4:25
Appears on: Bohemian
Rhapsody - The Original Soundtrack
The Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack is an interesting blend of hits, revisited
classics and excellent live performances. Included on that release is Now
I'm Here, live from Hammersmith 1975. This version does not include Bob
Harris' intro, instead it starts with crowd noise, followed by Brian's guitar
intro. This version ends after the big drum/guitar ending with some quick
crowd noise. This is similar to the version used on the 2011 remaster Bonus
EP, but not exactly the same.

Night At The Odeon Super Deluxe Box Set
This soundcheck performance of Now I'm Here is available exclusively
on the super deluxe box set of A Night At The Odeon. The performance is
a little more laid back than usual, but at the same time, it sounds great.
There is some banter at the beginning and end from Freddie and the band
addressing Bob Harris and ensuring the sound is right.

2011 Queen II Deluxe iTunes Download
This live performance video of Ogre Battle from the 1975 Hammersmith Odeon
concert was made available exclusively on iTunes in the UK. It is really
nice to finally have a released live performance of the track. The band
are in good form here; a fun performance. Freddie introduces the track at
the beginning.

2011 Queen II Deluxe CD
Recorded live at Hammersmith Odeon on Christmas Eve, 1975. This version
is a standout on the 2011 Deluxe Queen II reissue. Freddie performs a new
piano part and Brian's guitar solo features some of his earliest delay work.
The overall mix and sound is absolutely fantastic.
