Single Info
John Deacon's only true side project was a side band called
The Immortals with Robert Ahwai (guitar) and Lenny Zakatek (lead vocals
and rhythm guitar). The Immortals released only one song, No Turning Back,
which was featured on the soundtrack to the John Hough film Biggles.
No Turning Back was released as a single in the UK on May 21, 1986. The
7" featured a mostly instrumental version called The Chocks-Away mix
on the flipside while an extended version, called The Joy-Stick Mix was
the A-side of the 12". The single failed to chart and has never been
re-released.
