Album Info
To support his UK #3 charting album Outisider, Roger Taylor
embarked on a 14 date UK tour throughout October 2021. The tour was well
received by critics and fans alike, with a large focus on Roger's recent
solo work and most popular Queen and solo tracks. Familiar faces Spike Edney
(keyboards/backing vocals), Neil Fairclough (bass/backing vocals) and Tyler
Warren (drums/backing vocals) along with Tina Keys (keyboards/guitar/violin/vocals)
and Christian Mendoza (lead guitar/backing vocals) joined Roger onstage
to perform fantastic live renditions of his Queen and solo work.
Almost a year later, The Outsider Tour Live was announced much to the surprise
of fans. Released on 30 September 2022, the album was available digitally
through all major streaming outlets while QueenOnline received exclusive
2LP and 2CD editions. The first batch of vinyl LPs were black while later
pressings were translucent pink. Surrender live from Bournemouth O2 Academy
was released as a lyric video to promote the album.
The Outsider Tour Live charted at a respectable #46 in the UK and will undoubtably
remain a fan favorite for years to come.
