Roll With You was released as a single over a year before the Golden Days album was released. The two versions are almost the same, save for a few minor differences in the mix. The first difference is at approximately 1:20; on the album version Brian and Kerry sing "la la, la la, la la" together. The single version has Brian singing the part by himself. The second difference is at 3:28. On the album version the lyric is "I wanna roll" after the various "la la" bits. On the single version, the lyric is "I've gotta roll with you".

A single version of It's Gonna Be All Right, renamed "Panic Attack" was released on June 14, 2017. Labelled as a "Radio Edit", Panic Attack is better described as a longer remix of the original track. The difference is obvious from the beginning. The start has less of Kerry's whispering intro and instead of the instrumentation beginning with keyboard and piano, this mix starts with brian's electric guitar. There are differences in the backing track the whole way through, making this mix slightly rockier and in my opinion better than the album version.

Born Free is another John Barry/Don Black song covered by Kerry Ellis and Brian May, which was released as a single in 2012. The song was originally released in 1966, sung by Matt Monro, as the title track to the movie of the same name. The song became a popular track to cover over the years, performed by Roger Williams, Frank Sinatra, and others. Kerry and Brian's version was released to aid the Born Free Foundation. The song was available as a digital download and as a limited edition 12" picture disc (limited to 1,000). Brian and Kerry did a short Born Free tour the same year. Also of note, Rufus Taylor performs drums on this studio recording and Brian plays guitar and keyboards. Some sources list this as the Large Scale Version. A different mix of the song was used on the album "Golden Days" 4 1/2 years after this single version was released. The album version has the same vocal performance, but the backing track has some major differences in places.

This stripped down, acoustic version of Born Free is just Brian on acoustic guitar and Kerry singing vocals. Kerry's vocal take is different from the one that appears on the proper, large scale version. This new vocal take also features some very minor lyrical changes.

The video version of Born Free shows some of the work the Born Free Foundation does to help save lions. Brian and Kerry are featured throughout the video. The audio uses the large scale version. The beginning and ending are slightly longer and feature some wildlife sound effects.

Brian May and Kerry Ellis converged on Roger Taylor's studio in 2013 to record a new track, "The Kissing Me Song." Kerry sings lead vocals, Brian provides guitars and backing vocals, Rufus Taylor plays drums, and Jeff Leach plays keyboard. The song was originally released for the 2013 record store day event on a 500 unit limited released 7" red vinyl. The song was later released on the album "Golden Days", but with a different mix. The album version has a prominent keyboard backing with the acoustic guitar at the beginning, whereas the single version focuses just on the acoustic guitar. The ending is very different between the two versions as well. The "Full Version" ending uses some bits from a live performance from the 2012 Born Free tour, giving it a much more "live" feel. The album version is a more fleshed out studio creation.

The 2013 single of The Kissing Me Song featured a Full Version and a Radio edit. The Radio Edit is an edit of the Full Version, not the album version. The verses and chorus from 1:30 to 2:30 are edited out as is the instrumental outro at the end of the song.
