A fairly major edit of the album version. The intro is
much shorter, which works really well. The outro to the song has been
edited out completely which makes it more radio friendly. Not a bad edit
at all.

Basically the same as the album cut, just with a much longer percussion

versions.

As Roger Taylor explained in numberous interviews, including the commentary
on Absolute Greatest, One Vision and A Kind Of Magic actually started
as the same song. Until the 2011 Deluxe CD release, we didn't know that
there was actually a demo recorded of this unified idea. This demo features
Freddie on lead vocals and is more similar to A Kind Of Magic than it
is to One Vision. Regardless, this is a very entertaining and surprising
inclusion to the 2011 Remasters.

This is quite possibly the best version of A Kind Of Magic released. This
is the original version that Roger had in mind before Freddie "locked

poppy and dance oriented. This original version was much more somber and
atmospheric.

The track begins with an almost 2 minute long instrumental section
that features parts of the regular mix. Basically it starts out sounding
like a remix of an instrumental version. Most of Freddie's vocals appear
close together now without much instrumentation in between. The long saxophone
part still appears. If you take out the first 2 minutes, it would be a
good single remix.

A slow song, this demo, presumably

as a sort of chorus and Freddie gently singing "I'm so sorry" and "dee dee

A demo, rumored to be from the early A Kind Of Magic sessions
in Munich surfaced in the bootleg/trading community some time ago. It was
given the title Back To Storm, most likely by a collector. In listening
to the lyrics, it sounds more like "coming on much too strong"
as opposed to "back to storm." Regardless, the track features
Freddie on vocals.
There are keyboards, bass, and drum as well. It sounds as though the drums
are genuine and not programmed.
